In response to the drastic increase of flu victims on campus, Quinnipiac has set up an isolation area in the Recreation Center.
The area was created for students experiencing flu-like symptoms until they can be sent home.
The school requires all students with a fever over 100 degrees with a cough or sore throat to go home if they live within a 200-mile radius.
Along with sending students home, health services is urging students to continue to wash their hands, cover your cough and clean all shared surfaces.
